Sunshine cruises on Coniston Water

Enjoy our Solar-Powered launches and know that you are aboard the most environmentally-friendly passenger boats in the country!

You can catch our Northern Service at Coniston, enjoy the fabulous views, see Bluebird’s base. Pass Holly How and discover the names of the fells. The informative commentary by our experienced crew adds to the enjoyment of this cruise. You can sail to Torver or Brantwood, or just stay aboard for the relaxing 45-minute sailing.

Alternatively you can experience one of our Southern sailings that allows you to discover ‘ Wildcat Island ’ of Swallows & Amazons fame, enjoy the natural history and the tranquil southern extremity of Coniston Water. Again a personal commentary from our crew complements your experience of this wonderful area. We call at Torver, Park a Mor, lake Bank, Sunny Bank and Brantwood. The full sailing is just short of two hours.

Campbells on Coniston Tuesdays and some Sundays

Sundowner Cruise - Tuesday evenings from May to early September

What better way to celebrate an ‘occasion’ such as a birthday or wedding anniversary than a cruise on the lake? Private charter prices start at £80 for an hour.

We work closely with Brantwood (home of John Ruskin) to provide a combined house and boat package for groups of 25 or more – just phone 015394 36216 or e-mail Coniston Launch info @conferry.co.uk for details
