Camping and caravaning in the Coniston area

There are a number of available areas to camp in the Valley, more details will be added here as and when the become available.

In terms of Wild camping, there is none allowed in the valley floor allthough it is generally accepted that as long as you are above the intake walls and out of site then you will be OK. It of course goes without saying that you should leave no trace of your visit when you leave and no open fires should be lit
